Coni-marble Synthetic Marble

VANITY TOPS
To maintain the beauty of your Coni-marble bathroom vanity top; wiping the surface with a damp soft cloth or towel is usually the only cleaning required. You may also use any mild, non-abrasive detergent.
An occasional use of Gel Gloss will not only help to maintain the lustre of the surface, but also remove minor stains and scratches.
Please avoid the following:
Heating elements such as curling irons should never be placed directly on the surface.
Glass jars or ceramic items should have felt pads glued to the bottoms to avoid scratching the surface.

SHOWERS & BATH TUBS
Coni-marble showers and bath tubs are very low maintenance. We recommend that you squeegee the walls after use to reduce the need for cleaning. This will also help the shower or tub area dry quickly which helps extend the life of the silicone. For general cleaning we recommend Orange Glow o remove any build-up of soap residue and body grease. CAUTION – rinse the shower base and tub thoroughly as Orange Glo will leave them slippery if not rinsed properly.

Polishing your Coni-marble with Gel-Gloss will produce the highest surface luster possible and leave a smooth surface that will help eliminate water spotting.

PLEASE NOTE
Hot water should not exceed 140°F/46°C as excessive hot water is not only unsafe but may cause material failure in drain area due to stress, especially when combined with an over-tightened drain.
Do not use abrasive cleaners on any Coni-marble fixtures as it may damage the finish.

AVIAN Solid Surfacing
Avian Solid Surfacing is a hard hygienic surfacing material which is designed to maintain its’ beauty and at the same time withstand the rigors of normal everyday wear and tear.

Here are some precautions to remember :

· Do not place extremely hot items on your countertop such as hot pans, electric frying pans, slow cookers, and toaster ovens. Direct heat will damage the surface. ALWAYS use a trivet.

· Most countertop materials can chip when something heavy is dropped on it or hits it.

· Use a cutting board when slicing or chopping. This will prevent scratches and dents in the countertop surface.

For daily cleaning, using soap and water or non-abrasive liquid cleaners will remove most surface dirt, stains and smudges. Thoroughly rinse and wipe completely dry after cleaning to prevent water marks.
To restore the countertops original matte finish, or to remover more difficult stains, minor cigarette burns and minor scratches use an abrasive pad like a 3M Scotch-Brite “Green Pad” along with some abrasive cleanser, like Vim, cut with a small amount of water. With a light pressure, rub over the area using a straight line motion in one direction then changing direction by 90 degrees. The finish in the sanded area will be a matte finish and may not match the rest of the countertop. Rub over a larger area to blend in the finish.

Nicks, gouges or deep scratches can be repaired by a professional fabricator. Done properly, the end result of these repairs will be indistinguishable from the original surface.
